This study program focuses on the design, construction and maintenance of ships and other marine structures. This study program covers various aspects of engineering and management related to the maritime industry, including mechanical engineering, materials engineering, hydrodynamics, and shipping project management. The aim is to produce graduates who are competent in designing and building ships that are safe, efficient and environmentally friendly.

Some of the courses taught in the Naval Engineering Study Program include:Ship Design: Study the principles of ship design, including planning the shape of the hull, structure and ship systems.
Ship Construction: Study shipbuilding techniques and processes, from cutting steel to assembling ship components.

  1. Ship Hydrodynamics: Study of the flow of water around ships, including the study of resistance, stability and performance of ships at sea.
  2. Propulsion Systems: Study of the engines and propulsion systems used to propel ships, including diesel engines, turbines, and alternative propulsion systems.
  3. Shipping Project Management: Study project management in the shipping industry, including planning, cost control, and resource management.
